Masukan sim card baru Anda, dan akan terlihat pesan bahwa sim terkunci, lalu ketik 00000000 dan sim card akan terbuka kuncinya.

_Ketik *0141# lalu tekan tombol call, dengan cara tersebut maka handphone Samsung Anda akan dapat digunakan dengan semua operator selular. Kode ini mungkin tidak bekerja pada ponsel edisi lama dan beberapa ponsel baru. Jika tidak bekerja Anda harus mengatur ulang telepon Anda tanpa sim di dalamnya dengan mengetikkan *#2767*2878# atau *#9998*3855#.

Cara membuka kata sandi telepon :

Khusus untuk ponsel Samsung bisa dilakukan reset EEPROM langsung dengan memasukkan kode *2767*2878# dalam kondisi ponsel hidup tanpa menggunakan simcard. Jika belum berhasil juga maka Anda dapat membawanya ke service center untuk membuka Phone Lock. Umumnya langkah perbaikan dilakukan dengan cara software.

Cara reset Samsung Monte.

Pertama, reset dengan cara menekan *#*#7780#*#* pada samsung Anda. Konfirmasi reset. Lalu tekan tombol *2767*3855# dan samsung Anda akan seperti baru kembali.

Cara lain reset samsung Monte.

    1. Tekan Menu
2. Tekan Settings
    3. Tekan Reset settings
    4. Centang pilihan berikut sesuai kebutuhan Anda:

        -All
        -Phone profiles
        -Display and light
        -Phone settings

    5. Pilih pilihan untuk mereset
    6. Tekan Reset
    7. Masukan password Anda
    8. Tekan Confirm

Kode unlock atau password default Samsung.

    Kode unlock default Samsung (4 digit): 1234 atau 0000.
    Kode unlock default Samsung (5 digit): 12345 atau 00000.
    Kode unlock default Samsung (6 digit): 123456 atau 000000.
